What We Believe

We Believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired by God, are inerrant and infallible in their original writings, and are the Supreme and Final Authority throughout eternity.

We Believe in One God who exists in three co-equal persons, the “Holy Trinity:” God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.

We Believe God the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

We Believe the Holy Spirit seals and empowers born again believers for the preaching and teaching of God’s Holy Word the Gospel.

We Believe that mankind was created in the image of God, sinned and incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death which is separation from God and that every person, is born with a sinful nature.

We Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood.

We Believe in the resurrection of the body of our Lord Jesus Christ, His ascension into heaven, and His present life there as High Priest and Advocate for all believers.

We Believe in the blessed hope which is the personal, visible and imminent return, of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We Believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit, become children of God, and joint heirs of eternal life.

We Believe in the presence of a real personal devil who is working in this world to destroy the souls of men in conjunction with all his demonic angels.

We Believe that every one who does not receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, will for ever perish in the lake of fire along with the devil and his demons.

We Believe in the ordinances of the Church given by the Lord Jesus Christ which are; Baptism of believers, and the Lord’s Supper, (Communion).

We Believe in the universal, world wide Church which is the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that it is commanded to preach and teach the Holy Scriptures throughout the world.
